Operation Nyamba is a French campaign that has been in place since 2017. Its aim is to combat the poaching of sea turtles in Mayotte. To ensure their protection, a team of volunteers mobilizes for several months each year and patrols the beaches of Grande-Terre and Petite-Terre every night.
